possibly by Clara Auguste Beda von Sydow (1854 - 1928)

Verwelktes Veilchen, verwelktes Blatt
Language: German (Deutsch)
Verwelkte Veilchen -- verwelktes Blatt --

Und wenn er entflog  --  und wenn er entschwand;
Ich kann ihn beschwören mit zitternder Hand:
Noch duften die Veilchen berauschend süß!
Noch weht es herüber vom Paradies!

Confirmed with Deutsche Rundschau, 28. Band, Berlin: Gebrüder Patel, 1881, page 6, in a short story by Clara Auguste Beda von Sydow titled "Was macht man auf Hohenstein?". Since it appears in a short story, the poem might be a quotation of someone else's work or it might be by the author herself.
