Die Spinnerin

Language: German (Deutsch)

Als ich still und ruhig spann,
Ohne nur zu stocken,
Trat ein schöner junger Mann
Nahe mir zum Rocken.

Lobte, was zu loben war,
Sollte das was schaden?
Mein dem Flachse gleiches Haar,
Und den gleichen Faden.

Ruhig war er nicht dabei
Ließ es nicht beim Alten;
Und der Faden riß entzwey,
Den ich lang' erhalten.

Und des Flachses Stein-Gewicht
Gab noch viele Zahlen;
Aber, ach ich konnte nicht
Mehr mit ihnen prahlen.

Als ich sie zum Weber trug
Fühlt' ich was sich regen,
Und mein armes Herze schlug
Mit geschwindern Schlägen.

Nun, beim heißen Sonnenstich,
Bring' ich's auf die Bleiche,
Und mit Mühe bück' ich mich
Nach dem nächsten Teiche.

Was ich in dem Kämmerlein
Still und fein gesponnen,
Kommt - wie kann es anders seyn? -
Endlich an die Sonnen.

La filadora

Language: Catalan (Català) after the German (Deutsch)

Quan jo filava tranquil·la i en silenci,
sense interrupció,
entrà un bell home jove
i se m’atansà a la filosa.

Féu lloança de tot el que es podia lloar;
quin mal pot fer això?
Els meus cabells semblants al lli,
així com també el meu fil.

Amb això no es calmà pas
i no deixà res al seu lloc;
el fil s’esquinçà
amb el que tanta estona havia filat.

I el torn de filar
féu encara molts fils
però, ai! d’ells ja no en vaig poder
fer ostentació.

Quan els vaig dur al teixidor,
sentia en mi un fremiment
i el meu pobre cor
bategava més de pressa.

Doncs bé, els dies de sol abrusador
els porto a l’estenedor,
i amb molt d’esforç m’ajupo
a l’estany més proper.

Tot el que, a la meva petita cambra,
he filat finament i tranquil·la,
arriba – com podria ser d’altra manera? –
finalment al sol.
