Απάνω ςὄρεο τὸ βουνὸ Μαννα χαὶ θυγατέρα δυό. Μἀζωναν τον ἀμάραντον Καὶ τὸ μελισσοχόρταρον Μἀχει ποὖ τὸ μαζὠνανε Καὶ τὸ χεριοδιαλεγανε Βρισχουνε χενα νεόγαμβρο Χώρι ἀπὸ τὴν νυφοῦλά τον. -- "Μαννοῦλα μʹ ἂς τὸμ παρωμεν Τὸν ξενο εις τὸ σπῆτι μας." -- Μώῥ ʹμεῖς ψωμὶ δὲν ἔχομεν Τὸν ξένον τί τὸν θελομεν;" -- ,Μάννα μʹ τὺ μερδιχυῦλί μου Μὲ σώνʹ ἐμένʹ χαὶ χεινονε." -- "Μῶῤ 'μεἲς ϛρῶμα δὲν ἔχομεν' Τὸν ξένον τι τὸν φελομεν;" -- "Μάννα μ' τὸ ϛρωματάχι μου Μὲ σώνʹ ἐμένʹ χαὶ χείνονε." --
