采莲曲
Language: Chinese (中文)
Available translation(s): ENG
若耶溪边采莲女,
笑隔荷花共人语。
日照新妆水底明,
风飘香袖空中举。
岸上谁家游冶郎,
三三五五映垂杨。
紫骝嘶入落花去,
见此踟蹰空断肠。

Lotus‑Picking Song
Language: English  after the Chinese (中文)
A group of girls pick lotus flowers near the Ruoye Creek,
They are talking and laughing happily while picking the flowers.
Sunbeams shine on their newly made-up faces, along with the bright lake bottom,
Their fragrant sleeves wave high in the air.
There are people along the bank of the creek,
The group of young men wanders under the whipping willow.
Young men’s maroon horses neigh and play around, which makes the flowers fly around,
As I walk by, I wonder if I will ever experience their love and happiness.
