Okonchen prazdnyj, shumnyj den'

Language: Russian (Русский)

Okonchen prazdnyj, shumnyj den';
Ljudskaja zhizn', umolknuv, dremlet.
Vse tikho. Majskoj nochi ten'
Stolicu spjashchuju ob"emlet.

No son ot glaz moikh bezhit,
I pri luchakh inoj dennicy
Voobrazhenije vertit
Godov utrachennykh stranicy.

Kak budto vnov', vdykhaja jad
Vesennikh, strastnykh snovidennij,
V dushe ja voskreshaju rjad
Nadezhd, poryvov, zabluzhdenij...

Uvy, to prizraki odni!
Mne skuchno s mertvoj ikh tolpoju,
I shum ikh staroj boltovni
Uzhe ne vlasten nado mnoju.

Lish' ten' odna iz vsekh tenej
Javilas' mne, dysha ljubov'ju,
I, vernyj drug minuvshikh dnej,
Sklonilas' tikho k izgolov'ju.

I smelo otdal jej odnoj
Vsju dushu ja v sleze bezmolvnoj,
Nikem nezrimoj, schast'ja polnoj...
V sleze, davno khranimoj mnoj!
