Wenn heut ihr wiederum gelingt
ihr nächtlich süßer Überfall –:
Oh denk', ich sei's, der leichtbeschwingt
von seiner Sehnsucht Überschwall

Ô pense que ce serait moi, mis d'humeur légère
par le flot débordant de son désir,
qui ne cesse de chanter devant ta chambre
