  In den Wald hinaus.

In Wäldern und Feldern,
  Am lustigen Bach,
Da gehen wir eifrig
  Den Blumen nach.

Und sinket die Sonne,
  So geht es nach Haus',
Beladen mit Kränzen
  Und blühendem Strauss.

O kauft unsre Blumen
  Zu Fest und zu Tanz,
Kauft Primeln und Veilchen,
  Maiglöckchen zum Kranz!
