Was wehrst du dich und sträubst dich groß?
Ich halte dich fest umwunden
Und lasse dich nicht eher los,
Als bis ich dein Mäulchen gefunden.
In Fesseln meine Linke schlug
Die Händchen dir auf dem Rücken,
Mein Arm hat dabei Kraft genug,
Dich an die Brust zu drücken.
Die Rechte nun umspannt dein Kinn,
Du wirst's wohl dulden müssen.
So wahr ich Hunold Singuf bin,
Mädel, es kommt zum Küssen!
Siehst du, wie folgsam du dich schmiegst?!
Die Angst war zu betäuben!
Und wenn du nun einen Schnurrbart kriegst
So kommt das nur vom Sträuben.

Why do you resist and struggle so mightily?
I hold you tightly embraced
And shall not let you go before
I have found your little mouth.
My left hand bound fetters
About your little hands behind your back,
My arm the while had strength enough
To press you to my breast.
My right hand encloses your chin,
You will simply have to put up with it;
As truly as I am Hunold Singuf,
Girl, there will be kissing!
See how obediently you snuggle up?!
Your fear could be benumbed!
And if you now grow a moustache,
Then it is only because you were reluctant.
