Thy golden hair
With the adornment of roses
And limpid lilies,

And the air all about
We fill
With the scent of incense, 
Mary, for Thee!

And for Thee there shall be 
A wreath of honour
With the bright shining 
Of radiant candles.

Mary mild, 
Here in the dust
Before Thy image,
There we kneel.

And from the breasts
Of all the children
The sound of songs 
Rings forth with joy.

The choir of songs 
Rings out with joy,
Their hearts soar
Upward toward Thee.

Upward to Thee, 
Mary pure!
Oh accept each heart
And consecrate it.

Thou bright star!
Oh make it limpid
And bring it to the Lord
As an offering!
