Dans la grand'hune

Sur le sein libre de la mer.
La mer de ses rudes caresses
A pétri mon cœur et ma chair ;
Ce sont de farouches tendresses
Que les tendresses de la mer.

La mer m’a chanté l’aventure,
L’espace, la vie au grand air.
Je suis un goéland de mâture, 
Un goéland, fils de la mer !

Et si, dans ma chambre bretonne, 
Un souffle passe, large et fier,
C’est qu’en moi gémit, hurle et tonne
L’âme innombrable de la mer.
