När jag för mig själv
Language: Swedish (Svenska)
Our translations:  GER
När jag för mig själv
i mörka skogen går,
tänker jag på vännen,
som jag aldrig får.

Tåren börjar rinna,
hjärtat slå,
aldrig kan man glömma den,
man en gång hållit å'.

Ängar, berg och dal och skog
med fåglar små,
blåa himmelen
med klara stjärnor på,

allt vad havet gömmer,
pärlor och koraller,
svanedun av skum
och klaraste kristaller,

gräs och blommor all
och lindelöv på kvist,
allting gåve jag för vännen,
som jag mist,
lilla vännen kär
från barndomsdagar.

Wenn ich ganz allein
Language: German (Deutsch)  after the Swedish (Svenska)
Wenn ich ganz allein
durch Waldesdunkel geh,
denk’ ich an den Liebsten,
den ich nie bekam.

Alsbald fließt die Träne
und das Herz, es pocht,
nimmermehr vergisst man den,
der einst der Liebste war.

Auen, Berg und Tal und Wald
mit den Vögelein,
den blauen Himmel,
die hellen Sterne,

alles, was das Meer verbirgt,
Perlen und Korallen,
Schwanendaunen aus Schaum,
lichteste Kristalle,

alle Gräser, Blumen,
Lindenlaub am Zweig,
alles gab ich für den Liebsten,
den ich hab verloren,
kleiner, liebster Freund
aus Kindheitstagen.
