Kinderlied für Agnes
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  ENG FRE
Dort an der Kirchhofmauer,
da sitz' ich auf der Lauer,
da sitz' ich gar zu gern;
es regt sich im Holunder,
es regnet mir herunter
Rosin' and Mandelkern.

Waldwibichlein, das kleine,
das goldige, das feine,
das hat es mir gebracht.
Es hat ein Schloß im Berge,
das hüten sieben Zwerge,
darin ist große Pracht.

Und es hat mir versprochen,
in aberhundert Wochen,
wenn Agnes wacker sei,
da käm' es in dem Schlitten,
zu Gaste mich zu bitten;
da seid fein auch dabei!

Chanson d'enfant pour Agnès
Language: French (Français)  after the German (Deutsch)
Là-bas, près du mur du cimetière,
Là je suis assis aux aguets,
Là j'aime bien m'asseoir ;
Le sureau frissonne,
Il pleut sur moi
Des raisins secs et des amandes.

Le petit Waldwibich
Le doré, le léger
M'en a apporté.
Il a un palais dans la montagne
Que gardent sept nains
Tout y est magnifique.

Et il m'a promis
Que dans une centaine de semaines ,
Si Agnès est vaillante
Qu'il viendrait en traîneau
Pour m'inviter ;
Ça sera chouette là-bas !
