Sommervise
Language: Danish (Dansk)
Our translations:  GER
Når rugen alt bølger,
og kornblomsten dølger
sin blå lille kyse
bag gitter af strå;

når gyldenregnsgrenen
omarmer syrenen
og blander sin duft
i det solfyldte blå:

da kommer, da kommer
vor danske skærsommer,
hvad gøgen forlængst
har haft travlt med at spå.

Når egene knoppes,
og granerne duppes,
mens bøgen har mørknet
sit lyseste blad;

når roser udspringe
af torne, der stinge,
lig luende elskov
af truende had:

da kommer, da kommer
vor danske skærsommer
gør frejdig den glade,
den ængstede glad.

I brændende stråler
som rosen ej tåle,
kys ikke tildøde
dens svulmende mund

Og storm ej i blinde,
letsindige vinde!
Bring ikke for tidligt
adspredelsens stund!

Thi bedst som den kommer,
vor danske skærsommer,-
ak, så er den fly't
som et drømmerigt blund.
