und züchtige mich nicht in deinem Grimm.
Herr, sei mir gnädig 
und erhöre mich, wenn ich rufe,

Note provided by Sharon Krebs: this text is made up of lines from five of Martin Luther's translations of Psalms, with some alterations. They are as follows:
Lines 1-3,5, and 12 are from lines 2,3,and 7 of Psalm 6.
Lines 4,6-11 are from lines 1 and 9 of Psalm 4.
Lines 13-14 are from line 11 of Psalm 7.
Line 15 is from line 2 of Psalm 18.
Lines 16-18 are from line 11 of Psalm 16.
