by Franz Evers (1871 - 1947)

Osterabend
Language: German (Deutsch)
Der glänzende Himmel! Die tiefen Wolken!
Und immer gold'ner wird die Luft!
Ein schimmerndes Lichtmeer ist der Himmel,
und Schwalben schießen durch die Luft.

In blasser Ferne die dunklen Berge,
von Abendschleiern glühend schwer!
Welttiefes Feiern beim Glanz der Sterne,
schon naht die Nacht, von Liebe schwer.

Das stille Singen von tausend Düften,
und über den Grüften Lied und Chor!
und Menschenherzen summen und klingen
in leisem Auferstehungschor.
