så fager blomma, som vännen min,
vännen den hulda, som håg och sinn’
oemotståndligt har tagit in.

I höstekvällen på öde fjällen
jag tänker blott på min vän så blid.
Straxt blir så soligt och varmt därvid,
som i den ljuva midsommarstid!
