Über die Brücke mit purpurnem Lack geschmückt, Die Katashiwa's rauschenden Strom überbrückt, Geht trippelnden Schritts eine zarte Maid Im blauen rotgeränderten Kleid Ganz ohne Geleit! -- O wenn ich doch wüsst', Ob frei noch Herz und Hand ihr ist, Oder ob schon ein Freier sie weggefangen? Gleich sagt, wo sie wohnt! Vielleicht sich's noch lohnt, Und ich kann mir die Schöne noch selber erlangen.
