Die Vorwürfe

Ich habe mich bei ihr beklagt. Sie sprach: „Da meine Liebe dich zu Klagen hinreißt, So möge Gott von dieser Liebeslast Dich bald befreien!“ Hierauf schwieg ich, und Sie sprach: „Du hast zu viel Geduld mit mir. Verliebte sind doch sonst nicht so geduldig?“ Ich näherte mich ihr, – sie wollte mich Nicht hören; darauf bin ich weit hinweg Gegangen, um sie ja nicht zu erzürnen, – Nun tadelte sie, daß ich lieblos sei. Sie wird gereizt durch die geringsten Klagen, Und rührende Geduld ermüdet sie. Wer sagt mir einen Ausweg aus dem Wirrwarr? Wenn jemand einen guten Rat mir weiß, Will ich den Segen Allahs ihm erflehn.
