An das Christuskind
Language: German (Deutsch)
Nun zieht mit seinem goldnen Schein
das liebe Christkind wieder ein
in unsre Häuser und Stuben,
da freun sich Mägdlein, Buben.

Was hat uns doch zur Weihnacht
das Christkind alles mitgebracht
an köstlichen Geschenken!
Wir wagten's nie zu denken.

Hab Dank, du liebes Himmelskind,
dass du uns also hold gesinnt!
Dein Lieben, unermessen,
wir wollen nie vergessen.

Wir wollen Herz und Sinn dir weihn,
stets artig, fleißig, folgsam sein,
damit du an uns allen
kannst haben Wohlgefallen!
