Under the poem are the following words: "(Sie bringen als Vertreter des Thüringer Waldes Huldigungsgaben der Ruhlaer Industrie dar.)", which can be translated "(As representatives of the Forest of Thuringia they offer up gifts of homage from the industry of Ruhla.)"
