Mag in fernen Reichen Lust dir ohne Gleichen ihren Becher reichen und beglücken dich, denke dann der Deinen, die dich stets beweinen, o, dann gedenk auch mein! Blickst du in der Ferne auf zum Abendsterne, o, dann gedenke mein! Ach! Wir sahn ihn glänzen In der Heimat Grenzen, darum gedenke mein! Oft mit sanftem Kosen trotz des Windes Tosen sah ich zu den Rosen niederbeugen dich. Denkst du ohne Klage, jener holden Tage, o, dann gedenk auch mein!
