by Joannes Reddingius (1873 - 1944)

Wat beweegt daar snel
Language: Dutch (Nederlands)
Wat beweegt daar snel, zoo snel,
zilver-glanzend, schietend voort,
als een ijlend tintenspel,
dat bekoort ?

Dat zijn draden, zijïg - fijn ,
glinster-blinkend in de zon,
dat een heir van spinnen, klein ,
spele-spon.

Langs die draden woorden gaan ,
snel van eiken-blad tot blad,
dat ik om die taal te raân
wijsheid had!

Blâren ritslen zacht, heel zacht,
en het zuiver zonlicht glanst
goud op goud en zilver-pracht
toover-danst.

Confirmed with Joannes Reddingius, Johanneskind; gedichten De Maatschappij voor Goede en Goedkoope Lectuur 1913 p.43
