die Lenze bringen der Liebe Zeit.
Dass ich vor Freude hell jauchzen mag
so folgt dem Leide der Sommertag.
O bleibe, bleibe, du heller Glanz,
die Knospe treibe zur Blüte, zur Blüte ganz!

Spring buds

In the flowery blessing of nature in spring,
as scents pour out from the young growth,
in its sights and sounds there is happiness;
spring brings in the time of love.
Just as I feel like shouting for joy
pain is followed by summer days.
Oh stay, stay, you bright glow,
and make the buds burst into blossom.
