Chi vuol veder visibilmente Amore,
guardi colei che m'ha rubato il core.
Negli occhi suoi dimora e fa soggiorno,
e tiene un arco in man, cocche, saetta.
Non ferisce ogni uom che glie d'intorno,
nè chi d'innamorarne si diletta,
ma sol colui che vede ch'a valore
costanza di starle servidore.

regarde celle qui m'a volé mon cœur.
Dans ses yeux il demeure et a fait son logis,
et il tient à la main un arc et lance des flèches.
Il ne blesse pas tout homme qui est autour
ni celui qui tombe amoureux par plaisir,
mais celui qu'il voit donner de la valeur
