by Ernst Frederik Wilhelm von der Recke (1848 - 1933)

Alt falder Løvet i Lunden tæt
Language: Danish (Dansk)
Alt falder Løvet i Lunden tæt,
Som haver den smykt i Vaar;
Den grønne Lind har sin Krands forgjet
Og falmer sit faure Haar.

Den grønne Bøg har sin Krone mist,
Og Linden har tabt sit Blad;
Den Smaafugl sidder nu taus paa Kvist,
Som førre saa lifligt kvad.

Den vilde Fugl, som saa lystigt kvad,
Den sørger for sine Fjer;
Den Jomfru, som under Linden sad,
Hun sidder der aldrig mer.
