Herbst

Es falbt der Wald, bunt wird das Laub
Und spielt in allen Farben,
Das Korn ward längst der Sense Raub,
Aus Ähren wurden Garben.
Gelbgrüner Wipfel Goldesglanz
Mischt sich mit bräunlich dunkeln,
Purpur durchglüht den Bergeskranz,
Feurige Büsche funkeln.

Nun ist dem Herbste Macht verliehn,
Der Wind braust in den Zweigen,
Und lange Sommerfäden ziehn,
Die kleinen Vöglein schweigen.
Ein kalter Hauch weht durch die Hall'n
Und will ans Herz uns fassen,
Wir müssen, wenn die Blätter fall'n,
Von unserm Liebsten lassen.

So welkt das Glück, das uns erfreut,
Dem wir mit Dank und Segen
Die letzten Blumen noch gestreut
Auf winterlichen Wegen.
Und stille wird's, bald decket Schnee,
Was todesreif geschieden,
Und hüllet Unruh, Streit und Weh
In tiefen Schlafes Frieden.

Tardor
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch) 
El bosc es torna falb, s’acoloreix el fullatge
i es presenta de tots colors,
de fa molt temps el blat fou el lladronici de la dalla,
les espigues esdevingueren garbes.
L’esclat groc verdós de les capçades
es barreja amb el marró fosc,
porpra, refulgeix el cim de les muntanyes,
els matolls espurnegen com el foc.

El poder ha estat atorgat a la tardor,
el vent bramula a les branques,
i llargs fils de teranyina voleien,
els ocellets callen.
Un fred hàlit bufa a través dels pòrtics
i ens vol agafar al cor,
quan cauen les fulles, hem de deixar
el que més estimem.

Així es marceix la felicitat que ens fa fruir,
a la que, amb gratitud i benediccions,
hem encara espargit flors
damunt els camins hivernals.
I tot esdevé tranquil, aviat la neu cobrirà
el que s’ha acomiadat, prompte a morir,
i embolcallarà els neguits, els conflictes i les penes
en la pau d’un son profund.
