by Ida, Baronin von Reinsberg-Düringsfeld (1815 - 1876), as Thekla

Sängers Morgenlied
Language: German (Deutsch)
Grünende Pfade entlang
Walle ich gerne,
Grüsse die herrliche, dämmernde Ferne
Mit der Saiten lockendem Klang.
Blüten vorüber, von Ort zu Ort,
Zieht mich der Zauber der Ferne fort.

Nimmer die heimische Flur
Fesselt mein Sinnen;
Schönes vollenden und Grosses beginnen
Will ich im Schoos' der weiten Natur.
Darum über Gebirg und Thal
Wandre ich frey wie der Morgenstrahl.

Aber nahe bei dir,
Perle die Frauen!
Mögt' ich ein einsames Hüttchen mir bauen,
Theiltest du liebend die Stätte mit mir.
Dann schlöss' dein Auge das Weltall ein,
Dann würd' ich gerne im Hütchen sein.
