dämpfend alle Glut.
Durch den Wald ein Schimmer schwebt,
tauchet in den Fluß,
und das schwarze Wasser bebt

Hörst du, Lieb? die Welle fleht:
küsse, küsse mich!
Und von Schauern sanft umweht,
Sanfte - küss' ich Dich.
