Mein Liebchen ist treulos -- O weh mir, weh mir! Es stahl mir das Herze Ein Blick schon von ihr; Und nun ist sie treulos Und lachet mich aus -- Ich spring' in die Tißa, Ja, das wird daraus! Mein Liebchen ist treulos, Mir trübt das den Sinn; Ich spring in die Tißa -- Doch bleib' ich nicht drin: Zum anderen Strand schwimm' Hinüber ich fein, Und hol' mir ein Liebchen, Das treuer wird sein.
