Der junge General
Language: German (Deutsch)
Still gestanden, Grenadiere!
Achtung, was ich kommandiere:
Brust heraus und Kopf zurück,
richt't euch, g'radeaus den Blick!
In der Faust den blanken Degen,
g'radeaus, dem Feind entgegen!
Ja, bei meinem Knebelbart,
das ist deutscher Krieger Art!

Still gestanden, Grenadiere,
rechts um! Dann ich kommandiere,
kommt der Feind von rechts ins Land,
links um! Kommt er linker Hand.
Und nun vorwärts, fest und sicher,
mutig d'rauf wie Vater Blücher,
dass der Feind uns schon entweicht,
eh' der Säbel ihn erreicht!
