by Julius (Ernst Wilhelm) Stinde (1841 - 1905)

Rechte Zeit
Language: German (Deutsch)
Und muß ich morgen fort von dir,
Was weinest du schon heut'?
Sei wieder gut wie sonst zu mir,
Das Frühroth ist noch weit.
Wenn es beginnt zu tagen,
Ist noch nicht Zeit zum Klagen.

Doch kommt mein Roß allein zu dir
Ohn' Sattel und ohn' Zaum,
Und scharrt vor deiner Kammerthür,
Laß fahren Schlaf und Traum.
Brauchst nicht nach mich zu fragen . . . .
Dann ist es Zeit zum Klagen.
