Der Liebe Leben ist schnell vollbracht,
Es keimt, es reifet in einer Nacht;
  Frühmorgens erwacht,
  Noch eh du´s gedacht,
  Hüpfts Kindelein frisch
  Durch Blütengebüsch,

  Mit Macht, mit Macht.
  Kommts Abendroth,
  Ists Kindlein tot,
  Es legt sich nieder,
  Ersteht nicht wieder,
