Två sånger , opus 5

by Viking Dahl (1895 - 1945)

1. Sång om en blind flicka
 (Sung text)

Language: Swedish (Svenska)
En morgon kom i örtagården
en blind flicka. Hon räckte mig en blomsterkrans,
som låg på ett lotusblad.

Jag lade den kring min hals
och tårar trängde fram i mina ögon.

Jag kysste henne och sade:
,,Du är blind som blommorna.

Du vet ej själv, hur skön din gåva är.``

2. Vaggvisa
 (Sung text)

Language: Swedish (Svenska)
Sov, sov min gosse, stilla din gråt.
Jag väver in i en liten
dikt min gosse lilla.
Fjärran från havet höres
en tung och klagande kvidan.
Tyst! Tyst!
Idrömmen får du ro.
Sov! Sov, min gosse! Sov!
