Drei Lieder für 1 Singstimme mit Pianoforte , opus 53

by Adolf Wallnöfer (1854 - 1946)

1. Im Zauber des Kusses

Language: German (Deutsch)
Viel glühende Küsse, wir tauschen sie ein
 . . . . . . . . . .

2. Lied der Ghawâre  [sung text not yet checked]

Language: German (Deutsch)
Seid'ne Gewänder,
Spangen von Gold --
Kann es nicht ändern,
Hab's so gewollt.

Bunt sind die Kleider,
Falsch das Geschmeid,
Falsch meine Liebe,
Echt nur mein Leid.

Was ist mein Leben?
Tolles Gewirr,
Lachende Lüge,
Schellengeklirr.

Keiner hat lieb mich
Auf dieser Welt,
Tanzen und singen
Muß ich für Geld.

Einmal noch blicke
Freundlich mich an --
Weißt ja nicht morgen,
Daß Du's gethan.

Bin eine Flamme,
Die, windgewiegt,
Lodert und leuchtet
Und früh verfliegt.
