Im flachen Land war ein Erwarten nach einem Gast, der niemals kam; noch einmal fragt der bange Garten, dann wird sein Lächeln langsam lahm. Und in den müßigen Morästen verarmt im Abend die Allee, die Äpfel ängsten an den Ästen, und jeder Wind tut ihnen weh.
