1. Im Herbscht

Language: Swabian (Schwäbisch)
Duck di net so traurig nieder,
  Rösle, will's auch herbschtle schõ',
Blüh'scht ja doch im Frühling wieder,
  Und vielleicht viel schöner nõ'.--

Jung verwelke und doch lebe ,
  Wieder blühn nach kurzer Ruh--
Rösle, schau, was wollt i gebe,
Könnt i sterbe so wie du!

2. Unterm Fenschter
 (Sung text)

Language: Swabian (Schwäbisch)
Wie der Mond so freundlich strahlt
  Über Busch und Hecke!
Nachtigall sing net so laut,
  Möcht'scht meĩ' Schätzle wecke.

Wo die schönschte Rösle sind,
  Ischt ihr Fenschterlädle;
Mit de Rösle schpielt der Wind,
  Aber mir g'hört 's Mädle.
