Ich bin wie die Erde kalt und warm, Ich bin wie der Himmel voller Freud voller Harm, Ich bin wie der Regen, der erquickt und zerstört; Ich bin die Liebe, die verdammt und erhört. Was wissen die Menschen von sich und mir? Teils gleichen sie Blumen, teils einem Tier. Nur die Erde, die alte, weiß wie ich bin; Ich lebe und strebe und sterbe nicht hin. Ich bin wie die Erde, die Erde ist wunderbar weit Ich bin wie der Himmel, der Himmel birgt Ewigkeit, Ich bin wie der Regen, der erfrischt und zerreibt, Ich bin die Liebe, die immer und ewig bleibt.
