Eine rote Sonne liegt In des Teiches tiefen Fluten, Ein verirrter Falter fliegt Über Schilf und Weidenruten. Alles, was mein Herz verlor, Jugendmut und Kinderfrieden, Schlummert hier im gelben Rohr, Einsam, stumm, weltabgeschieden. Wie ein breites Abendrot Liegt mein Leben und mein Leiden, Ruhig wie ein dunkles Boot Meine Träume drüber gleiten.
