2. Cançó del canyís

Per viaranys secrets del bosc m'agrada caminar, furtívol, al clar de lluna fins la riba deserta del canyís, tot pensant en tu, noia estimada! Quan després es fa fosc en el matoll, mormolen les canyes misteriosament, i es planyen, xiuxiuegen, tant, que haig de plorar, plorar. I llavors em sembla sentir el lleu ressò de la teva veu i en l'estany enfonsar-se el teu deliciós cant.
