Catalan (Català) translations of Vier Lieder, opus 1

by Adolph Ries (1837 - 1899)

Return to the original list

Language: German (Deutsch)

No guardo rancúnia.

jo t'he vist en somnis,
i he vist la nit a l'espai del teu cor,
i he vist la serp que et rosega el cor,
he vist, estimada, que miserable que ets.

2. Wenn ich in deine Augen seh'  [sung text not yet checked]
by Adolph Ries (1837 - 1899), "Wenn ich in deine Augen seh'", op. 1 (Vier Lieder) no. 4, published 1855?
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wenn ich in deine Augen [seh']1,
So schwindet [all' mein Leid]2 und Weh;
Doch wenn ich küße deinen Mund,
So werd' ich ganz und gar gesund.

Wenn ich mich lehn' an deine Brust,
Kommt's über mich wie Himmelslust;
Doch wenn du sprichst: ich liebe dich!
[So]3 muß ich weinen bitterlich.

2. Quan et miro als ulls
Language: Catalan (Català)
Quan et miro als ulls,
s'esvaeixen el meu dolor i sofrença;
amb tot, quan beso la teva boca,
esdevinc totalment sa.

Quan em recolzo en el teu pit,
em ve una mena de goig celestial;
però quan em dius: t'estimo!
Llavors he de plorar amargament.
