Magnificat anima mea Dominum,
et exsultavit spiritus meus in Deo salvatore meo,
quia respexit humilitatem ancillae suae.
Ecce enim ex hoc beatam me dicent omnes generationes,
quia fecit mihi magna, qui potens est,
et sanctum nomen eius,
et misericordia eius a progenie in progenies
timentibus eum.
Fecit potentiam in brachio suo,
dispersit superbos mente cordis sui;
deposuit potentes de sede
et exaltavit humiles;
esurientes implevit bonis
et divites dimisit inanes.
Suscepit Israel puerum suum,
recordatus misericordiae,
sicut locutus est ad patres nostros,
Abraham et semini eius in saecula.

Glorifica mi alma al Señor
y se regocija mi espíritu en Dios mi salvador,
porque miró la humildad de su esclava.
Por ello bienaventurada me llamarán todas las generaciones,
pues hizo en mí grandes cosas el poderoso,
cuyo nombre es Santo, 
y su misericordia se derrama de generación en generación 
sobre los que le temen.
Desplegó el poder de su brazo 
y apartó de su corazón a los soberbios. 
Derribó a los poderosos de su trono 
y exaltó a los humildes. 
A los hambrientos llenó de bienes
y a los ricos despidió vacíos.
Recibió a Israel como hijo suyo, 
en virtud de su misericordia,
