  Сны на людей навевая;
С темно-лазуревой ризы 
  Сыпались звезды, сверкая.

Старые мощные дубы,
  Вечнозеленые ели
Грустные ивы листвою 
  Ночи навстречу шумели.

Радостно волны журчали, 
  Образ её отражая;
Рож наклонялась, сильнее
  Пахла трава луговая.

Крики кузнечиков резвых
  И соловьиные трели,
В хоре хвалебном сливаясь,
  В воздухе тихо звенели,

И улыбалася кротко
  Ночь, над землей пролетая ...
С темно-лазуревой ризы
  Сыпались звезды, сверкая...
