Aber sagt ihr guten Leute,
  Wer mich Arme tröstet?
Ach, wo ist mein lieber Vater? 
  Längst im Grabe liegt er! 
Wo ist meine gute Mutter? 
  Gras wächst ihr zu Häupten.
Bruder hab' ich nicht, noch Schwester,
