Mets ton épaule et tes cheveux
sur mon épaule et mes cheveux.
L'air est comme l'eau et les boeufs
passent dans le matin froid des chemins boueux.
Les cloches des coteaux verts sonnent le dimanche
Tu viens de te lever. Tu es toute blanche.
Le silence est grand et très doux comme la ligne
qui monte et descend, dans le ciel, sur les collines. 
On sent qu'on est sain et dans mon esprit bleu je prie,
parce que dans le ciel il y a Dieu!
