Schlaf nun und ruh in Träumen voll Lust, Du, die treueste, liebendste Brust! Sie sprach's, und Himmelshauch durchfließt Von ihren Lippen diese Stelle, Sie schwingt den Strahlenkranz und gießt Auf beider Antlitz solche Helle, Daß wie ein Heil'genpaar sie lagen. Indes die Peri wacht und Licht Mild strahlt in ihre Todesnacht, Bis ihre Seelen auferwacht.
