Przez całą noc do świtu 
Wiatr na morzu grał...
Ktoś do mnie zszedł z błękitu, 
Ktoś długo przy mnie stał.

Pod księżycowem złotem 
Twym głosem szeptał wciąż
I ramion twych oplotem 
Owijał mnie, jak wąż.

Ktoś z nieba błękit zlal, 
I długo morze grało, 
Księżyc złoto siał. 

I tak skroś noc do świtu 
Przez księżycowąjaśń
Ktoś z szumu i błękitu
Tkał czarodziejską baśń.

Spielte der Wind auf dem Meer...
Aus dem Azur stieg jemand herab,
Lange stand jemand bei mir.

Unterm Mondgold flüstert's
Mit deiner Stimme fürderhin,
Und deiner Schultern Umarmung
Umschlang mich wie eine Natter

 ... 
Jemand das Blau des Himmels abgoß,
Und lange spielte das Meer,
Der Mond säte das Gold.

Durch Mondenschimmer
Die Nacht hindurch bis zum Morgenrot,
Jemand aus Schimmer und Himmelblau
Ein Zaubermärchen flocht.
