Die Nacht hindurch bis zum Morgenrot
Spielte der Wind auf dem Meer...
Aus dem Azur stieg jemand herab,
Lange stand jemand bei mir.

Unterm Mondgold flüstert's
Mit deiner Stimme fürderhin,
Und deiner Schultern Umarmung
Umschlang mich wie eine Natter

[...]
Jemand das Blau des Himmels abgoß,
Und lange spielte das Meer,
Der Mond säte das Gold.

Durch Mondenschimmer
Die Nacht hindurch bis zum Morgenrot,
Jemand aus Schimmer und Himmelblau
Ein Zaubermärchen flocht.
