De ces agréables ruisseaux,
Qui joignent leurs flots et les eaux
Au vif émail de la verdure.
C'est là qu'en paisibles replis,
Dans les beaux vases de leurs lits,
  ils arrosent les herbes,
Et que leurs doux gazouillements,
  De leurs ondes superbes
Bravent les bruits les plus charmants.
