Zde hledím na ten drahý list
Ve knižce uložený,
A Tvého srdce chci zas čísť
Ty sladké pol-ozvěny.

Tu milým slovem povídáš,
Že věčně budeš mojí,
A že mě zase uhlídáš,
Že nic nás nerozdvojí!

A my se opět viděli,
Já poznal světa změny;
Mně nezbyl leč list zpuchřelý
Ve knížce uložený.
