De bon matí, quan els núvols empal•lideixen,
i cap al tard, a la llum de les estrelles.
Quan comença el groc daurat de l’aurora,
en la llum rogenca del capvespre,
sures al meu entorn, oh encisadora,
estimada visió de somni!

Em segueix per tot arreu
la teva preuada imatge,
camina sempre al meu costat
quan dormo o quan estic despert;
quan l’oreig suaument acarona
el canyís a la riba del llac,
